Papi Introduces Fiesta Collection

Papi presents its new collection of colorful Brazilian trunks that feature a vibrant, Latin-inspired theme. Hitting stores late April, the Papi Fiesta Brazilian trunk ($20) is offered in four bright colors such as yellow, green, blue and red, illustrations of palm trees and vintage convertibles as well as prints that read: “Havana” or “Caribe.”
“Fiesta in Spanish means celebration and Papi is all about celebrating life,” according to the brand. “The Fiesta collection was inspired by the Caribbean where people are known to work hard and play hard. They also like to express themselves through vibrant colors, which is what we communicate through this collection. The music, sun and happiness are also a big source of inspiration for the Fiesta theme.”
Ideal for the active Papi, the Fiesta range is made from a microfiber blend that consists of 88% polyester and 12% spandex, which offers a soft touch. “It is lightweight and feels as if there’s nothing on the skin,” according to the brand. “Microfiber is a very fine filament used in this fabric that gives it a lustrous finish.”
The Brazilian trunks are designed to keep you cool and dry throughout the day and mold to your body. This style includes innovative features such as a four-way stretch and body-defining fit to give men the utmost in comfort and protection. “These Brazilian trunks are made of modern stretch, a comfortable fabric that contours to the body in an unobtrusive way,” according to the brand.

PAPI PAYS TRIBUTE TO THEIR LATIN ROOTS WITH HISPANIC HERITAGE COLLECTION IN CELEBRATION OF HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

The number 10 was chosen as a symbol for the collection because it is a very positive number. The line represents the passion of sports in the Hispanic community. The fusion of colors and flags are also represented for countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic in the idea that Hispanic pride can be felt, seen and worn.
Macy’s Department store is also recognizing the brand with 75 select locations partnering with papi for in-store celebrations during the month.
